All writing should be edited and proofread for errors, including spelling and grammatical errors.
We will not accept the following: sing-song poetry or that of the greeting card type, flash fiction, fan fiction, anything that remotely reads like Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter, any writing that is slanderous or defamatory or attempts to incite violence, writing disguised as fiction that attempts to promote a religious or political agenda, gratuitous swearing or erotica, how-to articles, self-help, or previously published writing.
We only accept writing from authors over the age of thirteen.

Your email subject line should state: submission, genre, and title of your writing (ex: Submission, Poetry, "State our current theme").
You may submit more than one entry, but send each in a separate email. Your writing MUST be in the body of the email; we will not accept or open any attachments.
In the body of your email above your actual submission, please state your name, age, a brief bio in 3rd person, where/how you found our site, if the piece has been published elsewhere, and your email address as follows:

If we accept your writing, we will publish your short bio as well. We will not give out email addresses. We will respond to your entry within fourteen days.
